Sir 11:3The bee is small among flying creatures, but what it produces is the best of sweet things.
Sir 11:4-64 Do not boast about wearing fine clothes, and do not exalt yourself when you are honored; for the works of the Lord are wonderful, and his works are concealed from humankind.
5 Many kings have had to sit on the ground, but one who was never thought of has worn a crown.
6 Many rulers have been utterly disgraced, and the honored have been handed over to others.

Ps 75:5do not lift up your horn on high, or speak with insolent neck.
Ps 75:7but it is God who executes judgment, putting down one and lifting up another.
Rom 9:16So it depends not on human will or exertion, but on God who shows mercy.
Ps 33:16-1816 A king is not saved by his great army; a warrior is not delivered by his great strength.
17 The war horse is a vain hope for victory, and by its great might it cannot save.
18 Truly the eye of the Lord is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his steadfast love,

Ps 127:1Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Unless the Lord guards the city, the guard keeps watch in vain.
